This coffee was cultivated by 3 families from the community of Mendosayoc, in the buffer zone of the world's most biodiverse place, Manu National Park, located in the far eastern Andes of Cusco, Peru. All farmers who produce with Yungas do so in agroforestry systems that preserve and regenerate the critical ecosystems of the cloud forests that mark the transition from the high Andes to the deep, low Amazon Basin. Your purchase directly supports the farmers who grow this coffee and contributes to the conservation of not only the environment in which the coffee is grown, but the cultural fabric of the campesino communities of Cusco.
